martibsearch for "badaling" in Google Earth, then you find a psrt of the great wall in high resolution (badaling is second biggest part accessible for touists)

AlecA lot of it is built on high ground.
(if you look at google earth at that long / lat you can rotate it and easily see that it's a river. Sorry man.)
