This place is costs around 20 million dollars of New Zealand tax payers money and it is ran by the United States National Security Agency. Furthermore, New Zealand government officials say they do not know what takes place within the those walls. Its functions are to monitor the Pacific's satellite communications but as far as we know, it could also be monitoring Kiwi's like the NSA did with Telecommunications Providers in the US.
