It was closed on 8 September 2006.
It was located on the Reykjanes peninsula on the south-west portion of the island. It was a memory of a lifetime i still have to this day at 41 years old.  Long sunless cold winters, building igloos and crawling through them.  Building rock forts to hang out in with buddies, no tree forts up there.  Snow drifts my brother and I had to jump out the second floor window to dig out the front door from snow.  I remember stuck inside with minus 60 deg temps outside for days. In the summer there was no sunset and temps rarely rose above 60 farenheit.  To this day I have a love of Puffins, the sea bird that I came to love so much while living there.  Last year I took a trip to Maine to see them to relive that childhood memory. Thanks to Google Earth I have been able to find my old home, it is still there.  It took a little while to locate due to new construction but I eventually found it.]]></description><pubDate>2007-12-28T22:23:31-4294967289:00</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
